  1. How about this one sports fans, another nice effort 9 - 0, heavily outshot again, we were outscored this weekend 19 - 2 that should tell management that the one that secured these players should maybe hit the bricks. Must have been a rough game with I believe 3 fights or so, Macon probably knew the next time we face them will be in Macon again. If anyone wasted $8 to see this joke, let us know what it was like. I have seen most of our games had here is my point, absolutely no defense, below average goaltending. Forwards have no jump in their step, we are one of the biggest teams in the league size wise but we are also extremely slow, whether it is bringing the puck out or getting back on defense. No team speed, so to speak of. Headed to the bottom of the barrel fast, thank goodness for Roanoke but I do believe they are better than we are.
  2. Another great effort by this pitiful team, sure the defense is proud of this one, Peter D gives up 7 in relief of Patterson, I believe we were outshot 16 - 4 in the first period, this team is headed straight to the bottom. Don't know if they know what to do to turn this team around. Any thoughts, glad I did not spend 8 bucks to see this lack of effort on the computer.
  3. Getting rid of Bennett, big mistake, we still need 2 decent defensemen
  4. I agree with Marksmen3519, however we still need 1 reliable goalie, we gave away 2 of the best for nothing maybe we can land one.
  5. I bet the new coach left this game with the thought of if I get at least 4 new defensemen and definately 2 New Goalies, we may get this so called team out of the basement, thank God for Birmingham. In the second period we gave up 5 goals each about 3 and one half minutes apart. Shot totals for both teams were off the charts. Not ready to play tonight for sure. You say don't blame the goalie well ours are pretty bad and shaky at the least with the defense nowhere to be found. I know for a fact upper management won't put up with this lack of effort for sure. Also gave up two fairly quickly in the first. Pitiful
  6. wow, maybe he can turn things around, still hope we can find another goalie
  7. 72Vette you made me laugh for 20 minutes when I saw that sign below the last post, I'm still laughing where did you get that one
  8. I will support this team till the end, and it is not too late to bring players in, the last few years we brought players in in Dec and January, other teams are doing this quite often. We had plenty of 3 game tryouts in the middle of the season for the last 10 years.
  9. The losing streak continues guys, did anyone see the game, pointstreak had DiSalvo giving up one goal and when the other goalie entered he gave up 5, how many games will be lost before someone says "Hey we don't have a goalie or a defense that is worth a crap. True early season games are not as important as a big finish in the middle or at the end of the season, but here's a scoop, hard core fans will always show up, but attendance will drop off if we keep losing game after game, after game. 4 goals in a six minute span, no excuse. Lets see some changes quick, before it is too late. One more road game on the trip, with Roanoke playing a little better, it don't look good. Get some players in here and not scrubs from other teams, it can be done, I check the transactions and Fayetteville has little or no changes to speak of while the other teams recognize problems and make changes to improve their clubs. Totally pitiful.
  10. we gave up 4 goals in 6 minutes wth happened, I see the other goalie in for DiSalvo, what happened to Pete????????
  11. Thompson would be a big add, no doubt, but according to pointstreak stats, we have given up the most goals 39 in 8 games in the entire league, so a few d men and a goalie just might be the solution to everything, the amount of goals we have scored is somewhere in the middle of the pack, but you won't win many games averaging almost 5 goals a game to any opponent.
  12. Our new goalie gave up 5 goals on just 25 shots, not too good, we did score 4 in the second, still need a reliable goalie and some d men. How many losses in a row does that make, quite a few and still 3 road games to go, help
  13. Well, how does the Sean Bonar trade look, not too good, we gave up an all star goalie for absolutely nothing. 5 - 1, expect the same tomorrow night as we will fail to beat Bonar again. We gave up 5 goals on just 29 shots to Pensacola, what does that tell you. Also Green was a winner in goal for MRK tonight, does that name seem familiar. Yep we had them both and traded them away for nothing but a few castoffs who never showed up. Good thing it's early in the season, but if we don't make some changes on D or in net, we are sliding to the bottom of the barrel fast. Oh wait, we picked up a new goaltender from Peoria, that ought to help,------NOT - disgusted too early, I sure hope so. Lets get some new talent in here instead of waived castoffs from other teams.
  14. Just read off of facebook, Peoria posted they have signed former FireAnt Horn and he will play in Knoxville tomorrow night, Man we could have used him, very good add for them.
  15. How about a rundown from someone who was at this game on Sunday, what in the world, it is obvious we need at least a new goalie or two, and a completely revamped defense, to get run out of your own building 2 times in a row is pitiful. O looks ok nothing close to real good, but the problem is we can't stop anyone lately. Hope changes are made quick, we have a 5 game road trip coming with tough competition and can end up at the bottom of the barrel, lets be realistic, lots of castoffs from some of the other teams in the league is not getting it done. Lets make changes before it is too late.
