  1. This is a pretty big signing. Fox could easily be the best player in the league.
  2. You're wrong. Price hit the havoc's trainer in the head and sent him to the hospital. Hopefully he will be gone for the year and see criminal charges brought against him. Price and Coach Craigen have no class and don't belong in this league- a total embarrassment and a horrible look for Knoxville.
  3. Called up players aren't going to make much more than they do in the sphl and won't get near as much ice time. If they are top level here they are most likely entry level paid in the coast upon their first few trips up.
  4. Looks like LIdgett was released yesterday.. http://www.adn.com/sports/aces/2016/10/18/alaska-aces-thin-on-defense-acquire-blueliner-steven-tarasuk/
  5. de Melo was the the only stand out we had.. Really kept us in close. D did not do much. Not sure why Biernes was playing on D with Tesoriero as a scratch either. Offense was hardly noticeable. Saturday is gonna have to be different if they want any chance.
  6. He said he was done playing, only filled in this weekend as a favor. I think he went AWOL from the Cyclones.
  7. So true when they come to Huntsville. They got enough meat heads you figure one of them could go.
  8. not on the stat sheet but...
  9. The other option up until yesterday was emergency only.
  10. Hopefully it was with one of the owners of a failing team in the FHL or ECHL that are talked about in other threads on this forum.
  11. Not sure where you are glancing.. He hasn't scored since 12/05 and in the 15 games following that he has managed 9 assists. Need more from a top line center who I am guessing is taking a larger salary compared to rookies like McGinnis & Henegar. Like I said he started off great and since he has been back from call up he just hasn't been there. Tuesday's game in Memphis more times than not you could visibly see him standing on the ice with no movement during the play. Maybe he already knew he was on the way out..
  12. Makes sense. Mele hasnt been producing since coming back from his echl call up
  13. I have always heard of teams paying cash under the table in addition to their weekly salary. Wondering how true this is and what teams in the sphl are guilty. Should the salary cap be higher if this is a common practice or is it nessesary to keep better players on your team? Should it be squashed out or is it not enough to give a real advantage?
  14. Never wear another man's name on your jersey
  15. Tough loss. Someone needs to give Adam Stuart a real reason to lay on the ice tomorrow.. Dude was diving all over the place
