  2. I think from listening to the people around my area of seating that there are not many flavors of Kool Aid left for the team management or SMG to give us. Eventually on this road it leads to no hockey in Knoxville. People are unhappy with the lack of friendliness to the spectators, the lackluster intermissions, and the so called security screenings. Its easier to get into a pro event than try and guess which procedures are going to be enforced every night. There is no consistency on any front right now. Guess its time to start reserving hotel rooms in Smashville. At least fans get treated like fans there.
  3. Who used the survey to voice their displeasure at the unfriendly feel at the games? What are your recommendations for next season you hope to see?
  4. Considering the move out was on the 22nd I would assume all the team has gone their respective ways. Guess there weren't any bars available to have another kegger.
  5. I really think whoever thought these up and said "Man, these are awesome!!" got a free psych evaluation. Oh well, hopefully they will make back the 3.95 they spent on them.
  6. Happy Birthday twilder964!

  7. There isn't much need to discuss the obvious. We didn't show up until the 3rd period of the last home game. Bottom line... we took an old fashioned East TN A** Whoopin. I don't want to be negative, as I'm sure the team reads this. Any team can have a bad outing, but we have been pockmarked in our season with them. Hope it was an eye opener. I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling about the post season, but I also welcome the team to prove my feelings incorrect!
  8. I wouldn't go that far. Berkeley has been a constant in our play, but we've got some good contributions from Salvis, Drolet, Satim, and some of the newer guys are producing as well. The guys win and lose as a team, and while I will miss Berkeley, let's wish him well in moving up. Let's also get behind our guys even more and show them we are behind them no matter what.
  9. I will have to say that was a different Fayetville I saw last night IMO. It's always a hard game with you, and last night you had some real intensity going. Glad we got the W, but we definitely have the bruises to show who we played.
  10. He's a goon in every sense of the word. He probably has an autographed picture of Ogie Oglethorpe in his locker.
  11. Well it's time to chime in here. I've read a lot about the issue, and gladly wasnt at the game to witness it. IF Chilly "AKA" guy in a mascot suit, was rude and would not move when asked, then there is a problem. Not a problem to be handled by a fan taking matters into their own hands, but by either KCC or KIB staff. If there wasn't resolution by this, it still is not acceptable to confront any person in the manner which occured. I feel that the STH has a valid point in asking the mascot to move, but the mascot also has been hired to do a job. If the mascot exchanged words with the fan, then it needs to be looked at in the front office. I'm sure everyone involved wasn't pleased with a drubbing that was going on during the game, but it gave NEITHER participant in the ensuing tango (because it takes two) the right to act in a manner which led to the incident. I also feel that the mascot has a valid point. He is an employee as much as any player. They are all there to do a job. Did someone go push Craigen off the bench because they didn't like the situation? If so, I've not heard about it. If the mascot was rude or confrontational, how appropriate is it to push him down the steps? I believe the costume lends to less than perfect coordination and abilty to defend oneself. Therefore you now see a person with an injury and a person who may face legal action. As a fan, there are things that annoy me at games as well. It still doen't give me the right to act in an aggressive manner that could injure someone. I feel bad for the mascot as well as the fan. Hopefully the staff will take all the facts into consideration and do what's right for all involved. Let's stop looking at this one-sided and see the big picture. It sounds like 2 wrongs equaled a bad situation.
  12. Happy Birthday twilder964!

  13. Has anyone heard when season ticket packets are due to be ready for pickup? And will parking passes be ready for purchase as well?
