  1. The ways things are going for players from the SPHL playing in Europe, we may see Lamacchia back next season. For some reason, they are returning to the states after one season of playing in Europe.
  2. You won't see any announcements on coach until they find a suitable replacement. And that is if they can find one willing to coach in Fayetteville.
  3. There are only a handful of players who will return for next season. Why buy a jersey? Although I do support the team, I'd rather spend that kind of $$$ on an NHL jersey.
  4. Because we've had bad coaches making bad decisions.
  5. At least the ownership is staying positive where the last would have gave up. I think we will see a big change for next season. We'll see in 6 months
  6. I'm hoping they make a phone call to DiSantis to offer him the coaching job.
  7. My question would be, is there a salary table for the SPHL for coaches? We know seasoned players get paid a little more than the ones that are considered rookies.
  8. Columbus is like Fayetteville with a large Army presence in Ft Benning. They've always been our Army rival. I think Ice Gunners dedicated to the Army tank gunners.
  9. I keep telling myself that bad hockey is better than no hockey. I have faith in the ownership to learn from this season and build a better product for next season. They are hockey guys and want to win as much as we do.
  10. I would also protect the guys we have playing in the ECHL. Next season they may or may not make a roster spot. If they do, we own thier rights if they get waived. Coach should contact them to see what thier plans are for next season to see if they are planning on playing or retiring. The big mistake we made before agreeing to a trade with Bes in Pcola. Those guys were not planning on returning to the SPHL. We will probably loose Tayler Thompson. He has to had to sign and play at least one game this season to be protected.
  11. That's the beer talking. Not Fred
  12. Great game team! Definitely a positive move forward. Let's see how they fare with Macon who has been a thorn in Fayetteville's side for several seasons.
  13. Basic job description, put a good product on ice, butts in the seat and ink as many STH/sponsors as possible. Easy!
  14. I've heard they had some good inquiries. One, a former bench boss.
  15. This guy is available? Ok numbers last season but could be better in SPHL. Coach should be watching the ECHL transitions. http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=46007 instead he's,
  16. The players we decide to protect needs to join theAIHL for the off season to work on thier skills. Except Jake of course.
  17. How about the players in the ECHL? They may or may not make a roster spot which we will have the rights.
  18. I just hope that Jake decides to return next season and not retire. He's the glue that holds this team together. Off season, I'll be watching to see what moves ownership takes to improve the team starting with the player protected list.
  19. I know it will never happen but, they need someone with experience to run hockey ops. Kevin under new ownership could make it happen. He is better at team operations than running/owning a team. He was the all time points leader in Europe lol. He brought in Mark DeSantis as coach and this ownership turned him down for a second chance in the SPHL.
  20. Maybe ownership needs to consider bringing back Kevin to run hockey Ops. He may not do well with putting butts in the seat but, he knows hockey and has brought in good talent in the past.
  21. I bet it will be this year before next season.
  22. The upper leagues uses that term more than the SPHL. An ATO is for rookies/amateurs who has never played a pro game.
  23. What theme did the Dawgs have after a 10-0 butt kicking contest by Knoxville? It might work for the Marksmen
