  1. The Bears' PK was not ready to be assaulted by the ref. Really poorly called game. Both ways. And the Bears' defense needs some serious work. Lazy passes out of the zone will always lead to turnovers.
  2. I like that Points per Game average.
  3. I have not been there in person, I watch on SPHL Live... well I attempt to watch anyway. That is where I heard the remarks.
  4. Huntsville should remove Freak Daddy from the organization. I have heard him make derogatory remarks about other team's fans in the past. That is just low.
  5. I think this sweater accurately portrays what has been happening to the Bears lately.
  6. Thank you for the rule clarification, Mac. He was nowhere near his crease, but... ancient history now!
  7. The refs caught DeLeVergne the second time when he was completely in the no-no zone. The first time he reached in with his stick only. Still should have been a penalty.
  8. Second goal was offside. Then their goalie got away with playing the puck in the corner, and they got their fourth goal. Good job SPHL officials.
  9. 99 PIM for the Bears, 70 for the Havoc, 169 total in a 60 minute game. Sheesh.
  10. Phew. Woah! Now how about a regulation win tomorrow? Please?
  11. Great game... now get some rest, boys! Next puck drop is in 17 hours!!
  12. It has been nearly a month. Time to cook up some tasty words for someone to eat. Knoxville IceBears: Out of 23 games played, 11 have been against teams that are currently in the top-half of the standings (50%) Third Place Overall (based on Win% - Knoxville has beat the team in first... twice.) Leading Penalty Kill (by a large margin - 93% compared to Fayetteville's 87%) Tied for Fewest Power Play Goals Against (tied at 9 with Fayetteville) Most Shorthanded Goals For (6) Tied for 2nd in Most Goals For (tied at 81 with Mississippi - a team we have played 3 fewer games than) Macon Bacon: Out of 24 games played, 4 have been against teams that are currently in the top-half of the standings (17%) and 5 of those games have been against last-place Columbus (21%) Second Place Overall (golf clap) Second-to-Last Place Penalty Kill (83%) Tied for Fourth in Fewest Power Play Goals Against (tied at 12 with Huntsville) 2 Shorthanded Goals For Fourth Place in Goals Scored (behind Huntsville, Mississippi and... Oh hey, Knoxville!) And finally: Out of nine games played with his new team, Doan has won two, and both had to be decided in overtime. I am not sure how many more ways the OP could have been WRONG. And no, I am not embarrassed nor will I be. If my post was read correctly, one would see I used the word "already" in it - as in "already - up to this point, by this time, not going into the future." At the time I was referring to, Peoria was playing musical chairs with their goalies, and Columbus... Well, Macon knows about Columbus. After all, they have played the last place team FIVE TIMES. I know I am not supposed to feed the trolls, but sometimes they are just begging to be force-fed facts. Eat up!
  13. Billett seemed to get some kind of minor leg injury about 8 minutes into the 2nd.. He skated off a little gingerly but under his own power. Wells faced the majority of those shots.
