Any word on who made it from the free agent camp?

I'm not sure how this will affect anything. Glenn Jacobs is running for Knox County Mayor - the proposal to upgrade the Coliseum is from the city.

My guess is that they went with whatever they could get based on the contribution from the sponsor. In their defense, anything much bigger amd people start getting smacked in the face by their neighbor.

I just dont understand the Swider thing at all. From either side. Maybe it's just me. Six years is a long time to be away from competitive (and checking) hockey.

I agree completely with the passing comment MacGuy. The first period seemed like the puck was turned over on EVERY pass. It seemed to get a little better later on but it was a pretty lackadaisical period.

I agree. Davenport has played well in his limited outings.

The penalties are what they are, but here's what I thought was interesting... When Howe came in and engaged Phaneuf, none of the Peoria players made a move to stop it - either before or during the altercation. What that tells me is that his teammates didn't see Howe's move as egregious and that they, in turn, didn't perceive that Howe left the bench for the altercation. In my experience, if anyone perceived this kind of activity, they would have jumped on the offending party, especially when a goalie was involved.

My biggest pet peeve with SMG was not the security, but the inability to replace light bulbs. I bet there were more than 20 ice surface lights out by the end of the season.

Great game! This was the most complete effort I've seen in a long time. Three full periods of hard and coordinated play.

Exciting game! Great first period and overtime. Hope Plow and Flegel are OK. We've really got to figure out how to keep from giving up a three goal lead. It seems to be happening way too often lately.

I can't remember when we have ever been the most penalized team in the league, but with almost 100 minutes more than the next team, you can't expect to win.

I saw a few questionable calls but don't feel it decided the game. We need to stop taking penalties.
