uhhhh.. I don't think those punches hit his face. I think it was his shoulder pads that stopped the punches. LOL All in All not that good of a fight.
  3. FHL's Future Unclear?

found this on the Thunderbird's web page. http://www.carolinathunderbirds.com/news/thunderbirds-add-two-home-dates Is this unusual for the FHL ?
  4. I think its obvious that what the RailyardDawgs are doing on the ice and behind the bench over the first season so far this season is just not working. The weaknesses of the team have been discussed many times in other posts and forums and its clear DRASTIC changes are needed. The coach AND most of the players must go and we need to start over. It is probably too late into season to find good players, and overhaul the team but this group that are on the squad now, for whatever reasons just cant get it done and i feel any changes will be better than what is going on now. I wish Mr Ftorek and the players no ill will and appreaciate the hard job of starting a franchise from scratch. The ownership of this organization is top notch and I think they are running a great, well-organized franchise and have their heart in the right place. So lets just start over and hope for the best.
  5. I agree Richard, also with so many home games together here early in the season several fans can only afford to attend a few select games. If they see a team loosing and being outplayed each game, I'm sure those fans can get frustrated and find something else to do with their money.
  6. next season

Let's hope the "coach" agrees with the owners philosophy. My guess is that he does not agree. the DAWGS also need an overall upgrade in skill. The players seems to have trouble with basic skills. Such as Skating, passing and defending their own zone needs to be addressed as well.
  7. Jeremy Beirnes

Goons don't win games by themselves.
  8. I'm done

You should have been around for the Frank Anzalone days with the Express !!
  9. Can we get Frank A. out of retirement or maybe Perrry Florio ??
  10. IceGirls Idea is good, maybe they could be more entertaining. Dance of lead cheers?.... I have a parking pass and I'll chalk up the early season parking problems due to the start up of a new organization. Otherwise, I was fine with parking. My biggest disappointment/complaint had to do with the team that was put on the ice.We started with a small nonphysical team and after many many roster moves we still have a far below average squad on the ice. If the current coach cannot recruit/acquire better players and then COACH them, then maybe a change in coaching may be necessary.
  11. Would not surprise me if both expansion teams miss the playoffs this season.Dawgs and Thunderbolts got off to bad starts this year, and despite several roster changes to both teams, neither has gotten much better. Lets hope the Dawgs coaching staff does a MUCH BETTER job finding players in the off-season.

    GOON CITY !!!!!
  13. Losing streak

Not at that point yet. The organization off the ice is WAY better than the vipers. First time i have ever scene all the dasher board sold and adds on the ice surface. They have gone out of their and the way to help season ticket holders, Have lots of merchandise to sell and seem to be very well organized. If anything they may need to do more "traditional" advertising. The Vipers and last owners of the express were terrible and to compare that area of the organization is pointless. On the ice i do think the coach is in over his head a bit. Perhaps he underestimated the level of play/what type of players he need in this league.
  14. Picked mine up this afternoon ! was nice to see fresh ice back at the Berglund (civic) center! Renovations look great ! Would love to hear of training camp roster and practice times..........
