  1. @hankgreen It's the kindest way to describe him. Don't feel bad.

  2. Evansville has been doing interviews between the periods. I could probably take it or leave it. Sometimes they have some funny conversations though, so it's a good "no-cost" way to insert some interaction.
  3. @PatMcAfeeShow https://t.co/eC6iFgPGUz

  4. Evansville had a game to forget losing 1-6 to Macon in their first attempt to close out the series. The deciding game is about to start with Ryan de Melo again getting the opportunity to close out the series he opened with a win. The Thunderbolts will need to capitalize on the power play. The had five more chances last night, but again only converted on a single goal. Clearly, the defense will need to limit the Mayhem shots. Evansville held Macon to only 4 shots in the first period, and it looked like a repeat of Thursday night was in order. However, the dam broke in the second and third with Macon netting 6 goals on 25 shots (without any man advantages). 5. 8-0. Not sure if they're giving it their all at this point.
  6. Macon scores again. Evansville may be digging the hole a little too deep for this comeback.
  7. Bolts off to a rough start again. Melo chased after allowing 2 goals on the first 6 shots, but Syles has surrendered 2 more. No goals for Evansville. Edit: Team indicates 3rd goal was on Melo not Syles as the scorecard said.
  8. Finally got everything worked out, everybody warmed back up, and they're about to start (for real this time).
  9. That's one heck of a way to win. Congrats Knoxville!
  10. After a thrilling game one Evansville heads to Macon with two chances to close out the series. The defending champs will look to return to winning form in their home arena, but they'll need to limit the Thunderbolts shots while increasing their own production. Ryan de Melo will be back in goal for the Bolts after his strong performance in game 1. Pointstreak Scoreboard Pointstreak Gamelive Pointstreak Pregame Notes Listen Live Next games: If Macon wins tonight the Thunderbolts will close out the series tomorrow on the road.
  11. Bolts and Mayhem will be back at it tomorrow at 3:30pm CT.
  12. Scorcia scores to break up the shutout. Take what you can get boys.
  13. Macon stretches the lead to 3-0 at the end of 2. Haven't seen them actually. I worry about 2 goals in 8 seconds though. It seems unlikely they were both great looks.
  14. Macon blasts the tie open with 2 goals in 8 seconds. Bolts trail 0-2.
  15. Evansville continues to lead in shots 14-4, but neither that nor the power play chance has resulted in a goal. We head to the second period tied at 0. It's shaping up to be another close contest.
  16. Halfway through the first and the Bolts again have a large lead in shots on goal (9-2). No one has managed to slip one by the keepers yet though and no penalties. Last game neither team was particularly efficient on the power play. Macon didn't capitalize on any of their 3 chances, and the Bolts just 1 of 5.
  17. @evvthunderbolts @DASHauction Considering the demand for these two they can probably be had for a good price.

  18. @kconner2009 @ECPjohnmartin @evvthunderbolts I'm not sure if you saw, but the team did reduce season ticket prices… https://t.co/far6MeXPmw

  19. Must've edged out Drobot for the spot.
  20. It's one thing to get upset, but it feels a lot worse if you pick the people who beat you. I'm enjoying the new format.
  21. SPHL announced today that Sholl was named to the SPHL All-League Second Team too!
