  1. We touched on this in roster moves. But I dont see much trade value in the players you listed but Spraggs. We got Bauer and Cole off waivers. Got Parisi from the FHL. Then Schneider is a veteran and that would make him off the market for most teams. But I agree I believe some moves will be made if Bremner can find some replacements. We could use help with our defense and offense. We need to put a second line together that has the ability to score consistently.
  2. Roster Moves

We have a good chance to maybe get a few back for playoffs. Currently Armstrong who was just traded to Quad City is way out playoff spot. Also the 3 in Norfolk are currently out of a playoff spot but been making a comeback and not that far from one. Not sure how much that will really help us out, coming back to Roanoke without any games under their belt with our new head coach and all our new players. If we can sneak in the playoffs.

I seen it coming to. He played both Saturday games. In Knoxville he got a double minor for high sticking. Not sure what happened to him. Last year you always knew he was on the ice because he was lighting people up with checks. This year you only seem to notice him when he had bad penalties like in Knoxville.
  5. Wow, it has to be an injury. Look at the Ebug they signed Greg Ozubko. He is 54 years old. https://www.echl.com/stats/player/3960/44/greg-ozubko
  6. Roster Moves

Yes thats a great line. But that line is also the only line that can score consistently right now, which is one of our problems. Not sure if its just a coincidence but we had Beer taking out of the equation last game and we got destroyed and shut out. We need to have another line step up and start scoring more before we can move up the standings. Hard winning games depending on one line for the biggest part of all the scoring.
  7. Roster Moves

Could be a nice pick up. But I havent did the math but thats a lot of games played. Your only allowed 3 veterans with a total of under 1100 games played. We would have to release or trade our captain or alternate captain for that to happen.
  8. Yea, if thats considered obscene everyone would be kicked out of Roanoke games almost every game. Thats what Mike Campos was referring to in this tweet awhile ago.
  9. Yikes, I see de Melo hasnt faired very well in net for the Riverman yet. I Thought if he had a team playing in front of him he would do a little better. Starting 6.02 gaa. He might not be seeing enough shots there to warm him up. Use to seeing close to 50 shots a night playing for us.
  10. Not sure, would be hard decision. Game Friday night Di Salvo kept you guys in the game making some great saves. Then the one game Patterson played against us and we killed you in shots throwing up 54, yall still won because he was spectacular. I like both of them but have never seen Spano live and in action.
  11. Zoltan and Palmer gone

He played today for them after the starting goalie gave up 4 goals on very little shots. Zoltan i believe stopped 23 of 25 shots in relief. My stats might be a little off, trying to go off my memory.
  12. Im sure if he is anything like his former coach in Peoria, that will be happening, getting beat 10-0. After watching that game footage im sure its not going to be hard finding guys not giving full effort. It was hard for me to give a full effort watching it. Just glad my job isnt on the line for my effort.
  13. Zoltan and Palmer gone

We made you guys look real good last night. That eye popping score catching echl coaches attention.

Get your facts right we finished 9th and not last. We were also an expansion team just like Evansville who did finish last and just like Birmingham this year who is in last. Plus we had a lot more problems then Beirnes. We only had Beirnes for 16 games at the end of the season because he was injured until then. In the 6 players we got in the expansion draft Armstrong and Boyle were lost to call ups and finished their seasons in the ECHL. Another was Steve Mele who got injured a few games into the season and only played 29 games in the beginning and end of our season. Another one was Lamacchia who we traded for Riley Spraggs who ended up playing only 8 games for us because of injuries. That left us with Jackson Brewer and Ryan de Melo and de Melo was even injured for a good part of the season. Which leads me to the Dawgs had the most call ups to the ECHL in the league and the most lost games due to injuries to the team. Those are all facts, unlike you spouting out things that are only real in your head with no facts to back anything up.

Me too, but the way its looking that will take a miracle for us both to make it. A way bigger miracle to somehow play each other. The one thing i dont understand from the league is that they are trying to make rivals with who you play so much. So why have we just now finished about 1/2 of the season and already played each other 10 times. Peoria will be more of our rival by the end of the season playing them 4 games in a row to finish the season. Dont like they made our games so top heavy. Or the fact you play any team you hardly play 4 times in a row. You could be hitting a team at a good or bad time. Not sure when our last 3 games are against each other but im sure our rosters will be totally different by the end of the season so why not spread them all out a little better? I hear traveling expenses but if that the case why are we constantly playing home and home series a weekend?
