  1. I would have said that was a good possibility with Dion, but since Dave P. retired it took a vet away from Peoria so thats a better chance he sticks in Peoria. He will become a vet himself this year. Roanoke signing Economos also plays into them resigning Dion. Schultz finished in the ECHL so i believe he will stay there.
  2. Only problem with that is most of a team's fanbase doesn't really know how a player is off the ice or what they do in the community. I would say the biggest portion of fans go off the wins, losses, and how the team competes on the ice. Speaking of living an hour away. When a team really stinks that makes for a long and disappointing ride home. Don't know about y'all but i like car rides home a lot more when my team wins and plays a good game.
  3. Pensacola was so excited about that Corey Melkert signing they announced it again today instead of mentioning the new guys on twitter.
  4. This might mean Birmingham has got another veteran player they plan to announce a signing for. That now gives Knoxville 2 veterans.
  5. This was posted and discussed about in official player signings in Dawgs Forum.
  6. To my knowledge, there was no certain date announced. But the way it sounds there will be more then one jersey announced and then everyone will vote on which one is the best. Not sure of any dates given that I know of yet.
  7. Looking at this new tattoo, it looks like Tyler Gjurich is pretty happy where he is: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1773908916037945&id=649632085132306
  8. Sorry about that Jamey. Love your fan page! Keep up the good work. Have to cut him some slack, he is a Marksmen fan. He is a nice guy i'm sure he will fix it for you!!
  9. Nice to see Cam Bakker back. What I remember from Jeff Jones is that he destroyed us whenever we played Peoria the year before last. Glad to see another new face. Seems like most of our new guys have ties to Peoria. That can't be a bad thing. Liking how the signings are going so far!!!
  10. Wonder where SR will go now since JR took over Port Huron? Maybe he might have time to start up the UHL finally!
  11. Sounds like he might have pulled a fast one on the Thunderbolts. Captain last season then suppose to play overseas so not on protected list. Now signs with Pensacola. Either way, its a nice signing for Pensacola.
  12. He's played in the NHL. Unavailable to play in the SPHL!
  13. I would have to agree. If he wasn't taking up a veteran spot i'd be all for it. But my opinion, there are better options to use it. But Knoxville was hurting for a veteran last year when they brought back Swider. Maybe Carr is having a hard time finding them.
  14. I'm still waiting on Carey Mahoney's thoughts on this transaction.
