  1. You are correct - media time-outs are designated by the league at the 5, 10 and 15 minute marks. The time-out is called on the first whistle after the clock hits that mark, and sometimes a few seconds before if it's close. The only exception is if the whistle is for a goal. Inevitably whichever team draws the icing call gets the benefit and the other team complains.

  3. Any idea what happened to Huntsville's goalie? I didn't see any excessive hits or rocket shots that would cause a goalie to lose his lunch. I'm loving the new camera work and replays, by the way.
