Some of that group know alittle about the game and some think they do. Then there is the group that go for the “experience”. They couldn’t care if there were really well skilled players out on the ice or dancing bears. That question is- how many want to watch hard hitting old school well coached hockey or how many can let the dancing bears entertain them for 2 1/2 - 3 hours? Then people come on the forums and critique the game m, the team, the coach, the front office, other posters, and the price of tea in China. When, after a half a season, you are a losing game from last place when it seems like you only play the other two teams in the league that are in the same boat as yourself. I could imagine the Sheepleness if we played the first place through fifth place teams as much. The win column would say zilch and dancing bears would be a bigger problem to most. Back to Sheeple
Jingle Nuts replied to antman's topic in Fayetteville MarksmenThis observation if true screams out a lack of wanting to play for the new coach. The Hockey Ops Guy is gone and the coach who started the season is gone. The can’t find or bring in players because it is the holidays is over. The haven’t had any time to run my own practices and institute my own systems is over. The a road trip will help bring the guys together is over. Point being that tonight’s game at home should be the end if this team doesn’t exhibit a one for all all for one attitude. The Dawgs have a new young coach ex Sphl player who came in around the same time as a much older supposedly more experienced coach with no Sphl experience. Fayetteville fans and sponsors deserve the best shot of having a winning team. So until things get better than this current ownership would be foolish going with the current status quo. Bring in a young hungry ex player who knows the league and has the respect of anyone who plays in this league.
Team should be in first or second place if there is no extra Ice time for Howe or Graves. Hit, go to the net, make some space for others. All things those two can do. The team isn’t that good where your rebuttal makes sense. Maybe old school is out but not to me.
