  1. HAHA...Yep....Alaska might be east of somewhere...lol
  2. Well even if we only get 2 years out of him hopefully he can add on to what we missed in season one and help build a better organization. Good things
  3. Alot of shaking and moving goin on.............
  4. I love the idea of growth it only makes the league better. Maybe its not the fact that the team is in the midwest but maybe it is now the name of the league.lol...........I agree its gonna be a stretch for a lot of teams to take that drive. I think there were better closer suited expansion arenas to look at but atleast Quad City gets to keep hockey
  5. Look like they made a decision http://www.pjstar.com/sports/20180522/rivermen-will-renew-old-rivalry-as-qc-set-to-join-sphl
  6. Great job Marksmen . Skating multiple.players short also
  7. Wow...what an awesome accomplishment for the Marksmen bunch and a great way to end the season. Even down that many skaters they fought it out.
  8. Hmmmm. That's and interesting idea. Your right .Wonder if he is looking .
  9. Haha....whatever man...thats not what I meant at all. Trust me they will fill the position. If they get all the requirements then he or she will be well qualified. I also know they want someone local and not to say the person won't relocate. But Fayetteville does not provide a huge market for hiring those qualifications. Business degree yes but sports management experience is gonna be tough. So assume that I meant that they would never fill that position is a ignorant statement. I know it will be filled trust me on that fact.
  10. A Win?

Great win tonight. Looked like a different team after the first.
  11. Yes I know I read through the requirements and thought damn. That's some serious prerequisites. The possibility of bowing out is probably true. The team needs someone who is located in Fayetteville and not in Charllotte thats 3 hours away . Trying to run a staff from that distance especially this young staff of the marksmen front office is not really possible.
  12. HMMMM...Thats the postion that Longo currently holds
  13. TRUE..lol but something tells me we want try again....THIS season
  14. This is unbelievable you cant tell me that Fayetteville provoked all of that and that it deserved a 5 game suspension. Jesus. Well at least we know the new kid isn't afraid of throwing down in true Fayetteville Hockey fashion. I hate I missed it wish I would have seen this I was hoping to see Henley work. Hopefully he was holding his own!!
