  1. Wow! I've been thinking that I dislike the home and away schedules since they generally make road trips to see your team less fruitful. I'm guessing you'd also prefer back to back same city matches.
  2. Good question. Mrs. Montgomre and I live half an hour (or more depending on traffic) from Huntsvillle. We have have season tickets and make most of the home games. That'd likely put us in the same boat as you and the Mrs. JMC.
  3. I loaded up the family and drove down to Macon Friday stopping in Newnan, GA to pick up some friends. Turned into the Macon Centreplex on two wheels and made it to our seats with a couple of minutes to spare, and caught a great game. Had a great time. Macon staff and fans greeted us warmly and we're friendly throughout. Throughly enjoyed the "extra refs" behind the benches. Heading back tonight for the rematch tonight.
  4. I'm betting on the beer truck getting delay... along with the Coke Zero. Hopefully tonight we'll have both.
  5. Excellent! Eli makes the experience better for all.
  6. Yes. Large zip ties secured the non-pod seating. Lines weren't as well socially distanced as you'd hope, but mask usage was high. The Havoc provide logoed hand sanitizer swag upon entry.
  7. Fred's observation is accurate. I'd estimate roughly 1800-2000 (SWAG) actual attendance. It was great to be present at a live hockey game. The game was competitive and hard fought.
  8. No problem. I've been hoping he sign again. He's a good defenseman with a fitting name. Another season of my wife giving me The Look!
  9. Condon Signs! HUNTSVILLE – The Huntsville Havoc brought back a consistent defensive player, as Pat Condon signed for his third season, head coach Glenn Detulleo announced Thursday. Condon has played two seasons professionally – both with the Havoc. In his two years in the SPHL, he has played in 91 games, accumulating a +/- rating of +34. Condon managed a +19 in his rookie 2018-19 season and a +15 in the COVID-19-shortened 2019-20 campaign. His +15 was best on the team this past season. Although Condon primarily focuses on defensive efforts, he has also contributed on the offens
  10. Volstate, what makes the playoffs a money loser for the teams? I've been to several in Huntsville. The Ice Plex, albeit small is packed out when the Von Braun isn't available. The Von Braun is generally fairly full for playoff hockey. I'm not indicating that your wrong, just curious.
  11. I'm ready to head down l-65 on Friday, and even more stoked for Saturday's playoff game.
