  2. Have you ever heard of this little league called the Interstate Hockey League.....
  3. Was at the game. No way in hell it went in. Very loud bang, and the Dawgs players looked confused after the call.
  4. Jesus. SPHL done a mighty screwup. Treat the officals like players. Fines and suspensions.
  5. Same. Give me a statement acting like you care and I'll take it.
  6. Its sad it's gonna take a really bad playoff call to get the league to listen.
  7. Thing is for me, what if this had happened in a playoff game during OT. The fact the league is not publicly talking about this scares me. Either release a statement or have a write up with video footage. You drive away fans when you put your fingers in your ears and yell I can't hear you when criticized.
  8. Last night, during the Rail Yard Dawgs vs Havoc games, the last Rail Yard Dawgs goal was controversial. Me and the other 4316 people there saw the puck hit the crossbar, Brain Gardner (Dawgs PxP) even said in the Dawgs broadcast that it went off the post. When Huntsville tried to throw the replay on the Jumbotron, the refs refused. Even later into the night, Max Milosek, who had the "goal" scored on him, even said it hit the crossbar on Twitter. When this becomes the norm of fans pointing out problems, something has to be done, and it can not be the SPHL way of sitting on it's ass and letting it blow over.
  9. I wouldn't say the FPHL is awful by any stretch, but it has problems. The main thing that's drawing teams to the FPHL is the lower operating cost, which people are completely forgetting about. From what I understand, the normal FPHL budget is half of a normal SPHL budget, and when you have teams that are expecting to pull 2k at most, that's as far as you need to go. But on the idea of the SPHL having a second chance in a city, I have to point to Macon. Trax didn't work the first time, and if you ask me, the Mayhem are more of a disaster. If I was the SPHL, you would have to show me really positive marketing data, and a hella good lease to even consider doing a second chance in any city.
  10. I like stability, but I also like expansion and not having to play the same team 4 gajillion times. If the league doesn't aggressively go after Montgomery, I will have probably lost faith in the league. Thats the thing. The high cost is too high. The league needs to lower cost and be aggressive about being stable and expansion with two more teams.
  11. Agree. This is why I am worried the SPHL days might be numbered. Why not try to get Columbus back when the FPHL is trying to grab it. Actions speak louder then words.
  12. https://busleaguehockey.com/2019/11/13/could-hockey-make-a-return-to-memphis-southaven-we-chatted-with-landers-center-and-the-pro-hockey-return-to-memphis-page-to-find-out/ Spoiler: Plan is to go with the FPHL
  13. Memphis is a wild as hell market.
  14. Ha President's is an actual challenge. Brutal road trip, and at least 6 games played in 3 weeks, along with having to have depth and coaching. Sorry, but the Coffey is still a good job certificate.
