  1. Am sure Coach knows best but Noseworthy appeared lost on the ice. Lots of standing around waiting for the puck. Maybe just rusty. Schiavo looked a better fit.

  3. Fred, I often enjoy the sarcasm and humor of your comments. However your negative comments directed toward Ray Ortiz all season are tiring, inaccurate and çlassless. For once just shut up. Thanks.
  4. Since we aren't allowed to water board terrorists any longer, recommend the CIA read this thread to terrorists over and over. They will surely crack!
  5. A desperation move? The Havoc revolving door keeps spinning. As I recall, McGill gives 100% effort 30% to 40% of the time. Just what the doctor ordered!
  6. Lazorko had 15 points in 15 games.. Akins and Anthoine have 13 points in 8 games (and that doesn't include the guy Good who didn't show up). I think the Lazorko trade was a good one (and we got Tolles out of it for Good). Foreman, power forward--8 points in 17 games--enough said. Gurtler's performance this season was no where near to last year's performance-perhaps because of those around him. His trade may have appeared brilliant if the guy from Peoria showed up instead of going to the ECHL. It appears to me the focus is and has been on getting some offensive punch. It may produce yet.
  7. Our current winning percentage (.261) is the worst in the SPHL history except for the Winston-Salem team in the league's first year. From the games I have watched, I have been generally satisfied with the effort on the ice. I have appreciated the defensive effort and goal tending. We are "punchless", and non-threatening on offense. That leads me to conclude it is either inferior talent or inferior coaching or both. I don't see any Justin Fox or Fidler or Harris or even a Detulleo on the ice. So to me the talent is not matching up well with the rest of the league. That being said, this too will pass, if not this season then next. Every favorite team I have ever had in any sport has both won championships and finished last at some point. I just hope the players turn it around and start having fun because I suspect they are suffering much more than the fans.

  9. Horrible no call on Draper goal. Gingera ran over Jesse and pushed him onto the net before Draper ever shot.
  10. Thanks to the Havoc. Great effort and focus in the playoffs. Maybe next year you can apply some of that focus to the regular season and we can see a few more home games in the playoffs.
  11. I think they did just what they were told to .... That doesn't make it good officiating
  12. I'm a Havoc fan so I can complain. It was an unsupervised brawl most of the night. By overtime the refs could have stayed in the locker room. It was a wrestling match. With my havoc eyeshades on, the Ice Fkyers were the winners in take downs and cheap shots but they also dominated the play. They were like waves repeatedly coming at the Havoc. While I don't believe there were 72 SOG there were a bunch. At least twice as many as the Havoc. Finally, I just hope Smyth is ok. Salvis "fell" on him while he was face down on the ice beside the net. He limped off and never returned the remainder of overtime.
  13. We are heading down Tuesday. Can someone tell me what section is closest to where the Havoc enter/leave the ice. We are going to stay in the Crowne Plaza I think.
