  1. Happy Birthday Chronicle!

  2. I found it soon after I asked the Q. Thanks though.
  3. May I ask where you found this gem?
  4. Link to Pelham City Council meeting agenda CC_Agenda(1).pdf

  6. Why Why do you consider Birmingham "a horrible place"? It's had problems, but it's on a come back. Read here http://www.citylab.com/work/2016/03/how-birmingham-thrived-bankruptcy-jefferson-county/472617/ B'ham would be an excellent opportunity for the SPHL because of its hockey past and its central location. Only problem is the Civic Center is too large for SPHL. Seats 18K+. As I've written, if a good lease deal could be worked out with the civic center authority and the upper level partitioned, it would be a good arena for SPHL hockey.

  8. Bartow Arena (about 10,000 seats) is a perfect venue for SPHL in Birmingham. Would need coversion for hockey, but it could work. UAB owns it. Men's and women basketball is only tenant. It does have an occasional concert. However, I'm sure an lease agreement could be worked out.
  9. Horrible place to watch a game. No real arena feel to it. The Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center sits pretty empty most of the time. If the upper section were draped off, it would be nice to see hockey there again. If Kerr does put a team in Pelham, I'm affraid it would be doomed from the start.
