GDT 4/8 - Columbus Cottonmouths @ Thunderbolts 7:15PM

6 posts in this topic

The Cottonmouths and Bolts battled to a 5-5 tie after OT, but Columbus would prevail 2-1 in the shootout. It was one of the more physical games of the season, and the team never gave up despite trailing by 2 twice. The teams have never managed to get any significant separation this season, so the closeness wasn't surprising. Al Graves got first star of the game for his Gordie Howe hat trick.

The season finale tonight has several promotions going on. First, tickets are buy one get one. Second, concession prices are lowered from normal criminal levels for $2 hot dogs, $2 sodas, and $3 tallboys. Finally, everyone is welcome to join the team for a post game skate with the players and coach.

Al Graves with the goal to take a 4 -1. Just needs a fight for a second Gordie Howe hat trick in a row.

Good to see the Bolts pull one off to end the season at home on a high note. See y'all in October.
