Corbett and Campagna good enough to be protected but weren't good enough to play in playoffs? Instead coach opted for Springer and Brooks? Still don't understand that. Guess Chaumont is retiring. Wonder where Harcharik will end up?

Its a "lose=lose"  for Fayetteville when you send one of your best up and coming forwards to complete a trade for a guy you don't protect. Final grade = C+

Corbett signed to France2 league which starts in August. If it doesn't work out, at least he will have a home in Fayetteville to come back to.

Im surprised Horn wasnt protected. May have earned a spot in ECHL next year but still Im surprised on that decision.

Horn was not on Rapid City's list and Brooks was listed on Kansas City Maverick's list

Horn is not on the list for a reason. He could have had other plans noted in the Coaches end of season interviews. Maybe Europe?

Glad to see Drobot and Hauswirth on protected list.  Is Hausworth playing better with the Antz/ Marksmen? When he was with the Gators he dropped off quickly.  I think there were some morale issues.  Just  curious on how he showed.

He's a leader on the ice. He was 3rd in points in the league and 1st in goals. Glad we have him!

Good to hear.  Initially with the Gators he was a force on the ice, but I am assuming a drop in team morale lead to him being mediocre at best on the ice and not playing to his full potential.  I knew he had more in him, everyone saw it.  Glad hes getting back in the groove.

Fay added him via trade (2-for-1) with Peoria in December.....A friend of mine (another gator's fan) said Hausy heats up around December....so good timing, eh? Lol glad he is on our roster. Very nice guy.
