Good name JMC but, I think Sniper would work better. Shooter reminds me of the movie Happy Gilmore:)

I like that one, Greg, but the team could run afoul (or in this case, run a-fox) with whomever owns the rights to the Japanese children's literature character Kaiketsu Zorori.  Though his two "boar disciples" would sure make for some cute on-ice companions during the T-shirt tosses ...

THAT Zorro may be foxy, but he's not a fox.  Though it seems that lovely señorita disagrees with me ...

Having a dictionary handy is fun:

Forest

Fabulous

Factor

Fantastic

Fancy

Fang

Feisty

Feral

Fervid

Four-star- Fayetteville has a strong military tie

Freckle

Frisky

Fur

It doesnt have to start with "F".....I'm almost certain everyone has submitted names starting with one of the other 25 letters in the alphabet.

You are correct; however, since the city is Fayetteville and the Fox is the mascot, for fun- alliteration

If you used the Khmer alphabet from Cambodia, you'd have 74 letters to work with.  Unfortunately the flying fox is the only kind of fox native to Cambodia, and it's a bat.  A bat is used in baseball, not hockey.  Where was I going with this?

Just be thankful you don't have to write where you live as: Full name: Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu (85 letters)

Short-forms: Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu (57 letters) Taumata (7 letters) Location: North Island, New Zealand Language: MāoriTranslation: "The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the climber of mountains, the land-swallower who travelled about, played his nose flute to his loved one" Notes: Listed in the Guinness World Records as the longest official placename in the world.

Don't forget about Fort Bragg which starts with the letter F.
