Garrett Bartus has signed with Fort Wayne Komets, so he won't be back.

He might, if he gets cut.

A lot less likely since Fort Wayne's original starter for last season, Pat Nagle, has signed with an AHL team. If he comes down now it'll be to Toledo.

You're confusin' me, Shaun ... Toledo is "up" from Fort Wayne - both geographically AND in the hierarchy of North American pro hockey.  :dontgetit:

I might be wrong but I think he's saying that Nagle is playing for the AHL Grand Rapids and if he drops down, he will be playing with ECHL Toledo Walleyes who is affiliated with GR.  Does Fort Wayne lose the rights to Nagle?

You are correct. As for his rights, my understanding is they no longer have them. I don't believe they made him a qualifying offer even.
