Dawgs from last season trying their luck at higher levels.

9 posts in this topic

By my count we have 8 Dawgs from last season going to ECHL camps. Armstrong in Indy, Boyle in Adirondack,  Biernes in Wheeling, Vernace in Tulsa, Spraggs in Jacksonville, Turner in Orlando, Bauer in Reading, and Vasquez in Brampton. With Armstrong and Boyle also attending AHL camps in Toronto and Binghamton respectively. Have I missed anybody? Also who does everyone else feel will make the cut and who will be back in the SPHL by opening night?

Only one i can think of is Craig Skudalski, who played for us for a few games is going to an AHL camp.  I could see them all sticking in the ECHL.  But I believe the ones in AHL camps, like Armstrong won't be back.

Add Ben Bauer to it.  Going to Reading Royals tryouts.

Well looks like Beirnes and Armstrong have both made their ECHL squads in Wheeling and Indy so probably won't be seeing them in Roanoke this year.

Babenko, Mueller and Reichenbach still up in Norfolk last I saw. Murray was on his way to Roanoke today from Norfolk.

Sova, Murray and Mueller were skating this morning. Babenko had arrived from his waive from Norfolk.

Just read Reichenbach was released from his try out agreement and signed to SPC so he won't be coming back.

Yes seen Reichenbach made the Norfolk Admirals roster, I was impressed with him late last year.
