Hopfully this helps. Trying to get this up before Game day.

Or, to be easier for fans, you could iframe the score sheet and game live.

Game Preview: Preaseason Game 1

Marksmen @ Mayhem

7:35PM

Macon, Georgia

The Fayetteville Marksmen will take on the Macon Mayhem in their sole preseason game tonight at 7:35PM. This is the first game as Head Coach for Nick Mazzolini. Following tonight’s game, Director of Hockey Operations, Ryan Cruthers and Mazzolini will need to trim their roster to 22 players, and will have the difficult task of second cuts later next week.

This season’s camp roster will also feature five rookies, four of whom will lineup in the forward position and one on the backend.

Experienced netminders, Matt Zenzola and Peter Di Salvo enter camp as the only goalies on the roster. Both bring five years of experience, including a President’s Cup Championship for Zenzola, who won the SPHL’s top award with the Pensacola Ice Flyers during the 2015/16 season.

Macon wins the exhibition game 5-2. Lots of their team was part of their championship group last year. Very experienced at working together. Our guys have been on the ice for 3 days together. Not quite apples and apples.

First cuts to training camp roster tomorrow.

This is preseason hockey, not a fruit orchard.  Just getting to play against another squad is a good thing for the coaching staff to help make their final roster decisions.

I know it’s just preseason and y’all have 2 quality netminders but they didn’t get much help from the defense,I know y’all will get it figured out and can’t wait to play y’all during the season,

I don't think some of our key players were playing much. As JMC stated, preseason is for coach to test his players to see who stays and who goes. We'll see that roster get cut down to 18 next week.

Yes, we have two veteran goalies in Zenzola (former champion) and Di Salvo (lost to Knoxville in finals a few years ago).

Correct, some guys didn't play, giving the new guys an opportunity. I noticed on the game roster both Cook and Boudiette wore 24. I bet pointstreak gave stats to Cook when it was really Boudiette on the ice.

It was Ray Boudiette on the ice last night not Cook. And yes, I know exactly what pre-season hockey is about. No lesson needed there. Just a thought.
