Marksmen sign Ryan Patsch and Tommy Florintino both wingers one player in fhl, other failed tryout with other sphl teams, they have to be better than what we have now since only three players currently are scoring goals

At this point, it almost seems like we're signing whoever just to fill roster spots.  We also have issues with the other team scoring more goals than we score on a consistent basis and have a roster spot to fill in net.  It's hard not to be negative when we're mired near the bottom of the standings and there really aren't many, if any, positives you can say about our team.  Things can only get better because can they really get any worse?

When one can only pick from left overs at this point it makes it tough. He is also getting rid of those not getting it done. He was at the bottom at this time last year and kept changing guys and clawed back to make the playoffs. If not for some crappy calls and a league that is scripted where one owner owns multiple team he would have made it to the finals.

Watertown fans wish he was behind the bench for our team this year. What a doodie show!  To say the least!

Thanks for clearly spoken and truthful post Five Hole. Esposito is no doubt a guy that doesn't give up. I think we're gonna see a much better second half of the season.

Your statements about the coach when he was in Watertown last season are far from the truth. His subsequent firing was based on many issues. Just wanted to correct the record. Keepin it real

Thats as real as it gets...Its known where Phil stands with Soskin's or Don.   The Real about the whole thing is that he sure was not fired because of his lack of coaching abilities.  Those are in black and white for all to see.  Givin time i believe he will do the same in the position he sits in today.

We've signed 2 more forwards and skating only 4 D-men unless coach has someone showing up that we are unaware of for the weekend games.

Blaszak may be back soon too. He hasn't left Fayetteville yet.

Hoping coach is keeping in contact with Porter, Jeke and Shapiro. Jeke and Shapiro are both on the Icemen roster. I know we didn't protect Shapiro but hoping he returns if it doesn't work out in Jacksonville.:2thumbsup:

Porter is still here on the active roster.  Jeke is on Jacksonville reserve. I don't think Shapiro will come back, but WOW, he was a good defenseman.

J.B. Is still in Fayetteville. He was at a public event on Wednesday.

Must be why Carolina released him.  He was released here and never went back.
