He used to go to all UAH games even when they claimed that selling beer was not allowed at NCAA events.

Not enough credit given.  You are a man of wide-ranging interests.  As long as they're cheap ones.

As usual you have it backwards. Limited interests, sports and beer. Although cheap is better they are both off budget and I pay whatever they cost.

Sorry for the as usual part. I had you confused with the dingbat from here in Huntsville.

We are often mistaken as twins separated at birth.  I got most of the common sense.

Advertising more and better is a big one.  I went to a game earlier this year.  I am not a UAH alum, but hey since Auburn doesn’t have a scholarship hockey team I don’t feel bad about it.  But the only reason I knew there was a game is that there was a big billboard over University Drive.  Okay that get s a lot of views, but it was only up the day of them game as far as I can tell.

A lot of smaller schools like this print schedule posters and put them in the windows of local businesses.  Having been to Bemidji, MN I can say teams in UAH’s conference do this.  I never see anything like this Providence even though the businesses there allow flyers for plays and local festivals, and that area is packed most nights.  Just a thought.

Hockey is a big deal to everyone in Minnesota.  In Alabama, not so much.  Billboards & flyers in windows aren't very effective for marketing in regions where hockey isn't a household topic at every family meal.
