GDT 4/6 7:15PM - Fayetteville Marksmen @ Thunderbolts *POSTPONED*

Recommended Posts

GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO SUNDAY AT 3:30PM.

The final home game of the season is here. Evansville will face off against Fayetteville Marksmen for the third and final time this season. The Bolts took the two previous games in Fayetteville.

Evansville is locked in to 5th place in the standings as Knoxville holds the tiebreaker for 4th, and the Thunderbolts have the tiebreaker over Mississippi. Fayetteville did not qualify for the playoffs this year.

It will be Fan Appreciation Night with $5 tickets, a post game skate, and a team photo giveaway.

John Scorcia, Dave Williams, and Nick Davolio are the only three players on the roster who have played all 54 games. Hunter Stewart (4g, 3a) has the least with only 7 games. They all came under ATOs.

It doesn't look like it will have any impact on the Playoffs Challenge Round Selection. E'ville will just find out who their playoffs opponent is shortly after finishing the game.

That it won't, but I saw on FB a Bolts fan was highly upset about the postponed game. My guess is it will interfere with his Sunday family get-together at his gma's for tea and crumpets....

The team will still be hosting the selection event at 5:30pm, so if you were going to go to both the game and the event it might be a little more convenient?

Just under 8 minutes left and Fayetteville ties it up at 2-2. Bolts have the lead in shots 46-17, but it just isn't resulting in goals.

And it's overtime. 55 shots on goal for the Bolts but only two find the net.

No goals after 60 shots by Bolts. Headed to a shootout.
