Marksmen Corporate Spotlights

Bubba's 33 :

Quote

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Introducing Marksmen Corporate Spotlight – highlighting our partners in the community who help make Marksmen Hockey possible!

We start our spotlight with our good friends at Bubba’s 33 in Fayetteville, a family-oriented restaurant founded by the creator of Texas Roadhouse in 2015. Bubba’s mission statement is four simple ideas: “Food, Family, Sports, and Beer!”. Their name comes from their owner’s nickname of “Bubba”, and the 33 coming from the year that marked the end of Prohibition in the United States – 1933.

Bubba’s has been the “Official Post-Game Partner of the Marksmen” since our inception in early 2017, and has been a staple of the organization since. When you walk into Bubba’s in Fayetteville, you can easily find the Marksmen presence there, and know that you’re in a community partner.

Known for their mouthwatering burgers, cold tall beers, and fresh-out-of-the-oven pizza, Bubba’s is the perfect compliment after an exciting night of Marksmen hockey. With areas for both the family and for an adults night-out, the fun can go on whether with the kids or with the colleagues.

We thank our friends at Bubba’s 33 for their commitment to the Marksmen organization, and continuing the mission statement of both franchises: affordable, memorable family fun!

The 2018-19 Marksmen Home Opener is October 19th against the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs, and Season Tickets are on sale NOW!

If you’re interested in partnering up with the Marksmen organization, or hearing about our season ticket packages, group packages, mini-plans, or advertising benefits, email Director of Media Relations Shawn Bednard, SBednard@MarksmenHockey.com or call the Marksmen Office at (910) 321-0123.

22 Klicks Bar & Grill :

Quote

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – When it comes to Cumberland County, there’s no shortage of business, franchises, and organizations owned by active duty military or veterans.

22 Klicks isn’t just veteran-owned – but entirely military themed, right down to the name.

A “Klick” became a heavily-used unit of measurement during the wars of the 20th Century. A Klick equals to one kilometer, and “22 klicks” away from the restaurant is Fort Bragg.

Located in Hope Mills off of N. Main Street, 22 Klicks embraces what makes this community so great, and that’s the ever-lasting presence of the military in the community.

From the draping of the American Flag, to a U.S. Army Tank bursting out of the side wall, there’s no shortage of military familiarity.

The Marksmen and 22 Klicks partnered up this year to present our affordable and fun Fayetteville Four Pack. With the Fayetteville Four Pack, fans receive tickets to four great Marksmen games and a $10 gift card to 22 Klicks. You can purchase your own Fayetteville Four Pack here.

The restaurant may sound familiar even to those who have never been to Hope Mills or the Fayetteville-area, and that’s because of its claim to fame on the popular television program Bar Rescue.

Founded in 2009 as “Cliques”, the restaurant was an immediate hit, but soon found hard times. Following their feature on the show, they re-branded to 22 Klicks and focused solely on the military theme. They’ve proven to be one of the success stories of the show, as 22 Klicks brings in a heavy mix of locals, military, and fans of the show passing through North Carolina.

The Markmen organization is proud to have 22 Klicks as a partner for the 2018-19 season, and to be able to bring together two organizations heavily involved in the military community. For more information on upcoming events, specials, and to contact, head to their Facebook Page.

Bojangles

Quote

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – You know ’em, you love ’em – it’s world-famous Bojangles Chicken and Biscuits! With no real introduction needed, we proudly welcome aboard one of the South’s most beloved and delicious restaurants.

This year, you’ll be seeing plenty of Bojangles when it comes to Marksmen Hockey – and that’s no coincidence. Every single game puck that the team uses this year is embedded with our world-famous fox Marky on one-side, and the instantly-recognizable Bojangles wordmark on the other.

Alongside that, every puck that goes out of play in the Crown Coliseum this year will be brought to you by Bojangles.

Bojangles and the Marksmen have more in common than just the partnership and the satisfaction of enjoying them. Both organizations are born-and-bred in North Carolina, with the first Bojangles opening up in Charlotte in 1977 – that’s where our owner Chuck Norris lives!

There are over 600 Bojangles scattered across the East/Southeast regions of the United States, but the brand has found its way internationally on a few occasions.

When you think of Bojangles, think of Marksmen Hockey – two organizations born in North Carolina, and known for doing their best to make every person a fan.

We are proud and excited to have Bojangles aboard for the 2018-19 Season, which promises to be one of success on multiple levels.

Hinkamp Jewelers :

Quote

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – When you come to the Crown this season, keep your eyes out for the fine folks at Hinkamp Jewelers.

Between features in-arena and staff out at games, it won’t be hard to notice them.

That’s for good reason, too. Hinkamp has been supporting hockey in Fayetteville since long before the Marksmen, and kept that support alive in our inaugural seasons.

When it comes to premiere jewelery, Hinkamp is the first name that should come to mind. A local family, with roots in the city, they are a business that treats those who come on like family – NOT just a customer.

We are proud and excited to have Hinkamp back aboard for the 2018-19 Season, which promises to be one of success on multiple levels.

Fayetteville Academy :

Quote

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Two organizations so deeply rooted in their community, they keep the city in their first name. That is the idea behind both we at the Fayetteville Marksmen, and today’s spotlight partner in Fayetteville Academy.

While both of our organizations have been in Fayetteville for quite some time, the Fayetteville Academy has been educating the leaders of tomorrow since their doors first opened back in 1970. This private, college-preparatory school on Cliffdale road has only grown in legitimacy and size since then, with nearly 500 faculty, staff, and students.

The Eagles athletic programs include sports like Basketball, Baseball, Golf, Volleyball, and so much more in beautiful facilities. In fact, facilities are something that you’ll definitely notice when you go to Fayetteville Academy, as many of their newer buildings, such as the Alumni Center for the Fine Arts, Lawing Baseball Complex, Wood Technology and Learning Center, and Kishbaugh Center for Writing and Creative Learning were all constructed since 2000.

Keep an eye out for Fayetteville Academy, you’ll see them around many times during the course of the season, between groups and individuals. If you look at the Ribbon Boards and programs, you’ll also see their names.

Fayetteville Academy has been supporting professional hockey in the All-American City for many years, and we’re honored to have them back on the Marksmen team for the 2018-19 season!

Kevin Jones Plumbing :

Quote

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Kevin Jones Plumbing has been a family-owned plumbing business in the Fayetteville community for over 13 years. Attention to detail and a hard-work ethic have been a cornerstone of the company since their inception, and it shows – every single review on the company Facebook page is five-stars with a glowing endorsement.

It is consistency of product and high-quality work like this that makes the Marksmen so proud to have Kevin Jones Plumbing on our team. You may have seen his Dasher Board near the corner last year, or maybe you’ve seen him at games or in the community advocating for the Marksmen.

This year, you may become much more familiar with Kevin Jones Plumbing, as the company will have two dasher boards this year, as well as a vinyl wrap on the penalty boxes. More than that though, every time the away team takes a penalty, fans will hear a toilet flush throughout the arena. This will be an entertaining way to add insult to injury for the penalized opponent.

Kevin Jones himself is a huge Marksmen fan, so having him as a partner for both years of our team’s existence is not surprising, but we’re so happy to have him back as we head towards a special year of hockey in the All-American City.

Please give Kevin a call if you have any plumbing issues, and say hey if you see him at Opening Night.
