Not so much a big deal, yet. Don't play for a week.

Norfolk's other goalie is under contract with higher league and played 2 games giving up one goal.  Depends on whats going on with Roadrunners and Coyotes goalies.

I see Coyotes' goalie, Raanta, is listed as "illness" and will be the backup. However Tucson, AHL affiliate, was assigned goalie (Madsen) from Norfolk. It doesn't list a transaction for Arizona calling up Tucson's goalie. Including Madsen, Tucson has 3 on roster.

It might have been a last minute thing and Roanoke is closest to Norfolk.  Norfolk playing right now and must have needed one quick.

Edit:  Barone is not playing

Neither is Bakker for SC. Has not played a minute this season. Sure could use him on the Dawgs blue line. Same for Armstrong. No minutes played in Kalamazoo. SMH

Yeah, heard the SC coach in an interview saying he had a lot of defensemen that were rookies to the ECHL.  Had them trying to prepare them with the systems.  But definately stinks, could really be helping us out in Roanoke while just sit out 7 games in SC.

Just seen Jacob Caffrey released by Knoxville so a possibility we can sign him if Barone has an extended stay.

Ty Reichenbach gave up 4 goals and was replaced by Barone halfway through 2nd period in Atlanta.

Barone stopped 14 of 15 shots in 30:10 relief for Norfolk in Atlanta.  Another game tomorrow versus Greenville.  Maybe he earned himself a start.

This is the domino effect of Arizona's starting goalie Antti Raanta going to IR.

Arizona recalled Hunter Miska from Tuscon and Reichenbach got called up to take his spot in Tuscon.  That still leaves 3 goalies on the Tuscon roster.

Glad to see Brad get a shot although would love to have him in Roanoke.
