Is help on the way for our struggling defense?

Recommended Posts

We are about a week away from ECHL teams having to trim their active rosters from 21 down to 20. We have Cam Bakker in South Carolina and Travis Armstrong in Kalamazoo and neither of them have played, or even dressed for as far as I can tell, a single game. As much as I love seeing our boys make good at higher levels, I am kind of keeping my fingers crossed that one or both of these guys will be back in a Roanoke sweater in the very near future.

If these two aren't their respective teams final cut, hopefully Coach Bremner has something in mind to get our Defense on track, we cannot be successful when we continue to allow opponents impose their will on us in the d zone.

In total agreement with this post, but if one of both of those guys are let go, they will have to clear waivers first. Being up is a good thing, but not if you are not seeing any ice time.

Travis Armstrong was taken off reserve and playing his first game for Kalamazoo.
