Same exact jerseys Marksmen wore last Saturday for military appreciation game. I've never seen OT Sports sell the same design to two teams in the same league.

Can't be the "same exact jerseys"- Rivermen logos and sponsors are on the ones pictured! Same pattern with the starts and stripes, perhaps, but not "exactly" the same as those worn by the Marksmen a week ago.

Meanwhile, folks, on the scoreboard ... The Marksmen get a little payback against the Rivermen, winning in OT on Saturday night by the same score at PEO won on Friday night.

Goal looked like it was a split second AFTER the time ran out, but with no instant replay to prove it.

Really a split second after how did you see that?? I watched it live and couldn't tell that ?? Did you see something that I didnt?

Same score, different results ... PJStar ... Stunned: Rivermen beaten by Fayetteville with 0:00.1 left in overtime

... Peoria had a great chance to win it in the 3-on-3 overtime session, including a sequence where defenseman Nick Neville, perched on the back door, one-timed a pass at an empty net but pooched the puck over the crossbar with 43 seconds left.

Then, with time about to expire and the game seemingly headed for a shootout tiebreaker, the puck was dumped into the Peoria zone, where goaltender Mason Pulde gathered it in. He could have dumped it behind his net. Hurled it down the ice. Dropped on it.

But he sent the puck up the left boards — right to Fayetteville winger Darren McCormick — with under two seconds to play.

McCormick threw a soft shot back toward the net and it ran through Pulde for the game winner with 0:00.1 left on the clock.

Both teams were stunned. Then the Marksmen celebrated while the Rivermen stayed on the ice, trying to get officials to talk over the game-winner.

“We allowed two weak goals last night, and four tonight,” Rivermen coach Jean-Guy Trudel said. “We had complete domination of this game, except in one area. I was shocked to see that (OT goal) go in. It’s one you’d like to think would be stopped.

“We have guys working hard and learning and gaining experience here, and I have to believe Mason will remember that play for the rest of his career.” ...
