Marksmen coach encouraged after first 10 games

Recommended Posts

Fayetteville plays three times in as many nights beginning Thursday, including a home game Saturday at 6 p.m.

The Fayetteville Marksmen have a 4-5-1 record 10 games into the Southern Professional Hockey League season.

What’s that mean in the big picture of a 56-game season?

There are several things to note, actually.

• Fayetteville is tied for fourth with nine points, which is 10 less than league-leading Macon (19 points with a 9-1-1 records) and half of that accumulated by Birmingham, which is 9-0-0. Three of Fayetteville’s losses have come against Macon, which suffered its first loss just last Saturday
