Crowd wears red for the Saturday hockey game

Recommended Posts

I get that there are a lot of Capitals fans in the area and they’re excited that the team one the cup but why doesn’t the team do a Hurricanes night and get Brock and some of the Hurricanes players to come up and sign autographs and drop the puck?

I guess it’s because more people like the Capitals instead of the Hurricanes but Raleigh closer to Roanoke and the Dawgs have a connection since one of the owners plays for the Hurricanes.

Obviously, I really don’t care either way since I like the Canucks but it’s just a thought I had.

Sorry to be a downer, but this "red out" thing is going to be a massive dud. These marketing stunts are frequently tried and rarely succeed. I can recall just a few minor league teams who got fans to successfully buy in for a playoff run, and not a single one who pulled it off during the regular season.
