The Fayetteville coach was quoted in today's paper as saying he thinks Huntsville is the best team in the league.  Nothing like a little bulletin board material for a team that was 4-0 against them with a 21 - 6 advantage in goals scored in the regular season.  My prediction for the 2 games are now at 7-1 and 8-0 Birmingham. Looking forward to more exciting visiting team hockey next year.

Not surprising to hear him say he thinks Huntsville is the best in the league considering he.played & coached there for so long. They had a ring ceremony before the game on Friday presenting him with his "President's Cup" ring from the Havoc title last year. Something to be proud of for sure. It was touted on Fayetteville social media as his "homecoming".

maybe will end up the same as us.  We talked a little trash to Peoria for picking us in the the media then punched them right in the mouth.  I kind of like when your team has a little confidence like we did.  Shows we weren't scared to play them.  We could still end up losing but was a great first game to watch.  Wouldn't look too much into previous games, none of them matter anymore.  I'm rooting for all 5-8 underdog teams.

Very well done.  Bonus points for being the only one to pick Roanoke to win out of everyone I seen giving predictions and saw plenty.  Harding, Campos, and QC coach Dave P.  Also,  both the Argo brothers from Stickheads of the South and Evansville player Frank Schumacher who was on their podcast.  Even Alex who had no confidence in his team along with SouthernHockeyGirl.

Happy to be wrong. I cheer for the Dawgs but my picks were unbiased. My SPHL picks went about as well as my NHL bracket, where I had the Bolts in a sweep and the Pens in 5.
