End of Season Jersey Auction

Recommended Posts

You have around 10 days to bid on the end of the season jersey auctions, to own a Dawgs' jersey.   Link in the article.

We are very fortunate that we have a business partner that partners with the Dawgs to do these auctions.  Some teams use Facebook and then update a spreadsheet each day with the winning bidder and repeat the process every day .  That's absolutely crazy.  I would think it's not only frustrating for the bidders but crazy for the office staff.

Thank you Mountain City Auction!

Thank you Mountain City Auction!

I won a Peoria game worn jersey last year and they use the spread sheet method that updated every hour on their Facebook. It was really annoying because I had no way of knowing if anyone outbid me right at the end. On top of that you had to email the person in charge to increase your bid.

I like the teams that use an online source like Mountain city or the Dash app. My only complaint is the length of the auction often times over inflates the price of the jerseys, in my opinion.

"That's not a bug, that's a feature."

From the team's perspective, at any rate.

What does the team do with the money from jersey auctions?

During the regular season, sometimes designated charities; other times during the regular season and the after-season sales, team corporate operating funds.
