HUNTSVILLE – Head Coach Glenn Detulleo has jumpstarted the off-season signing period by announcing today that Tyler Piacentini will be returning for his third season with the team.

 

Piacentini (5-6, 151) tallied 26 points in 41 regular season games in the 2018-19 SPHL Championship campaign, while scoring three game-winning goals, including the dramatic overtime game-winner vs Pensacola on opening night..........

HUNTSVILLE – Havoc defender Pat Condon is set to return for a second year with the Huntsville Havoc following an announcement by Head Coach Glenn Detulleo on Wednesday.

Condon, the Merrick, New York native, appeared in 45 games in his rookie season with the Havoc. He assisted on 14 goals and scored five of his own.......

Playoffs MVP Milosek to Return Following Record-Setting Season

HUNTSVILLESPHL Playoffs MVP, Max Milosek, will be returning for his sophomore campaign, Head Coach Glenn Detulleo announced Monday.

Milosek appeared in 30 regular season games (29 starts) in his rookie season, compiling a 23-6-1 record while setting new team records. The Lapeer, Michigan native posted a .922 save percentage along with a 2.29 goals allowed average, both breaking previous Havoc records......

HUNTSVILLE – Head Coach Glenn Detulleo announced Wednesday Morning that center Shawn Bates will be returning to the Huntsville Havoc for the 2019-2020 season after spending last season in Canada with the Innisfail Eagles.

While with the Allen Cup Hockey West’s Eagles last season, Bates totaled 24 points in 16 games with 15 goals and 9 assists. He also accounted for 2 goals during the ACHW playoffs.....

Kaiser to Return for Fifth Season

HUNTSVILLE – Nolan Kaiser, the longest-tenured active Huntsville Havoc player will be returning for the 2019-20 season, the team announced today.

The Calgary, Alberta native will be entering his fifth season with the Havoc, after putting together his second-highest career point total (28) in 40 games during the 2018-19 season.

The 6-foot, 216 pounds defenseman showed a flair for the dramatic a season ago, netting two game-winners with less than a second on the clock, including the series clincher in the semifinal round of the SPHL playoffs against Knoxville......

 Welcome Newcomer Cory Anderson to the Pack

HUNTSVILLE- Head Coach Glenn Detulleo announced the signing of rookie Cory Anderson for the 2019-2020 season Wednesday morning. Anderson is coming to the Havoc from Manhattanville College where he spent all four years of his college career.

Anderson (6-0, 205) played in all 32 games during his senior season, tallying 17 points. He scored a career-high 12 goals and five assists in his final campaign with Manhatanville. Anderson was named Manhattanville Co-Male Rookie of the Year during the 15-16 season.........

Havoc Invite Three from Free Agent Camp

HUNTSVILLE – Following a successful three-team free agent camp, the Huntsville Havoc invited three players to its main camp in October.

The Havoc, along with the Fayetteville Marksmen and Danbury Hat Tricks hosted a joint free agent camp which led to 10 players being invited to fall training camps.

Head coach Glenn Detulleo is not only happy to invite a talented group of players to the team’s main camp in October but is also proud “that a large number of players got a chance to extend their playing careers and potentially become professional hockey players.”

The Havoc invited defensemen Greg Sauers and Gino Mini as well as goaltender Derek Moser to training camp.........

Kyle Sharkey Returns for 2019-20 Season

HUNTSVILLE – The 2019-20 season will mark forward Kyle Sharkey’s fourth season with the Huntsville Havoc, after signing his contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Sharkey (5-10, 174 pounds) turned in his best season as a professional in 2018-19, averaging 1.08 points per game.

Building on his first full season with the Havoc, Sharkey was an all-around leader for the offense in the 2018-19 season, finishing third on the team in total points (55), second in assists (38), and fourth in goals (17). He also led the team in +/- with a +28, good for fourth in the SPHL......

Havoc Add Third University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Alum to Roster

HUNTSVILLE – The Huntsville Havoc have added another rookie to its training camp roster, signing Oklahoma City native Tanner Karty, the team announced Thursday.

Karty (5-9, 185 pounds), a University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point alum, played all four years in college, donning an “A” his junior season and a “C” his senior season.

He will be joining former Stevens Point teammates Kyle Sharkey and Max Milosek, who all won the 2015-16 NCAA Division III National Championship. Karty is now a two-time National Champion, following the team’s undefeated championship run in 2018-19........

Havoc Ink Nutkevitch for Fourth Season

HUNTSVILLE – Huntsville Havoc forward and assistant captain Sy Nutkevitch, the team’s assists leader for three-straight seasons, will be back in the red and black for the 2019-20 season, the team announced Monday.

Nutkevitch (6-0, 175 pounds) won the President’s Cup MVP award for his dominant performance in the 2018 Championship run.

He followed that with a 59-point campaign in the 2018-19 Championship season, good for second-most on the team. His 46 assists marked the highest among his teammates..........

DeLaVergne Signs on for 2019-20

HUNTSVILLE – Mike DeLaVergne will be returning for his third season with the Huntsville Havoc, after signing on for the 2019-20 season, the team announced Wednesday.

DeLaVergne has been an integral part of the last two SPHL Championship teams, making 48 regular season starts over the past two seasons.

In his 48 career games with the Havoc, DeLaVergne has a 2.97 GAA with a .903 save percentage.........

Sikalis Set to Return for 2019-20 Campaign

HUNTSVILLE – Third-year defenseman Peter Sikalis has signed for the 2019-20 season, Huntsville Havoc head coach Glenn Detulleo announced Monday.

Sikalis (6-3, 203 pounds) has been a model of consistency in his two seasons with the Havoc, playing in 106 games and improving in nearly every statistical category from year one to year two.........

Havoc Add Sanipass to Training Camp Roster 

HUNTSVILLE - Huntsville Havoc head coach Glenn Detulleo announced Wednesday that rookie Garrison Sanipass will be joining the team's preseason roster. 

Sanipass graduated from UMass Boston this year, where he played in all 28 of the team's games this past season. In those 28 games, he scored 9 goals (4 power play goals) and added an additional 9 assists.......

Darrar To Return For Second Season with Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE - Forward Rob Darrar has signed for the 2019-20 season, the team announced Tuesday.

Darrar was a strong offensive player for the Havoc a season ago, scoring the second-most goals (20) as he contributed 47 points and a +/- of +17 in 45 games his rookie season. He was also one of the most accurate shooters on the team, finding the back of the net on 14.2 percent of his shots.......

Trask Signs for Third Season with Havoc

HUNTSVILLE - Forward Scott Trask has re-signed for the upcoming 2019-20 season, head coach Glenn Detulleo announced Tuesday.

Trask began the 2018 season in the ECHL, playing in just a pair of contests for the Newfoundland Growlers before making the trip back to Huntsville. 

Trask (6-0, 210 pounds) upped his scoring total from his rookie campaign in 2017 from 17 points in 52 games to 23 points in 39 games..........

Posa Promoted to Player Assistant

HUNTSVILLE - Defenseman Saverio Posa, who played in 13 games for the Huntsville Havoc a season ago, will be returning as a player assistant for the upcoming season, head coach Glenn Detulleo announced Wednesday.

Posa joined the Havoc roster on March 22nd last season, racking up 3 points and a +/- of +9 in just six regular season games. The Grand Blanc, Michigan native played in all seven of Huntsville’s playoff games, assisting on one short-handed goal and garnering a +3........

Havoc Ink Hayes to Training Camp Roster

HUNTSVILLE - Forward C.J. Hayes has signed with the Huntsville Havoc for the upcoming season, head coach Glenn Detulleo announced Friday. 

Hayes took the 2018 season off, following the 2017 season in which he spent 26 games with the Mississippi RiverKings and 16 games with the FHL's Watertown Wolves. In those 16 games with the Wolves, Hayes tallied 27 points on 11 goals and a +/- of +17...........

Havoc Sign Rookie Walters to Training Camp

HUNTSVILLE - Huntsville Havoc head coach Glenn Detulleo announced Tuesday that the team has signed SPHL rookie defenseman J.T. Walters to the training camp roster.

Walters (6-2, 203 pounds) played four years of NCAA Division III hockey for Bethel University (two years) and Gustavus Adolphus College (two years). He played in 83 career games between the two programs, scoring 10 goals with 15 assists before graduating in 2018........
