NEW Clear Bag Policy at the Coliseum

Recommended Posts

The KCAC is moving to a Clear Bag Policy for all events this year.

To avoid issues at the doors, be prepared.

Unfortunately, there are currently no clear bags for sale at the KIB Online Store.

Also, as a courtesy, all fans must now wear clear clothing to the arena:

Clear underwear optional.

NCAA & junior hockey venues instituted widespread restrictions on opaque bags recently as well.  They must've all received the same DHS guidance memo, or all attended the same facility security conference.  The Coliseum is the first I've seen to include 1-gal. resealable storage bags, though, in their list of acceptable carry-in packages.  Is that so Ice Bears fans can enjoy their watermelon slices during games?  :dontgetit:

That would go against the no outside food restriction.

Seems like a 4.5 x 6.5 clutch would be plenty big enough for a pistol though.

Let us know how your experiment works out, Mac.  In Knoxville, you're far more likely to get busted for being a guy with a purse than you are for smuggling a weapon into a public entertainment venue.

"But seriously, folks ..." The University of Nebraska-Omaha's new clear bag policy includes this key caveat to their allowances for small clutch bags: "... after proper security screening."  That phrase (or similar verbiage) may be in the fine print of the K'oliseum policy as well, allowing for probing, scanning or emptying of such carry-in bags prior to release for entry.  Now if you have an invisible pistol, that could be a whole 'nother issue.  :ph34r_anim:

What about Wonder Woman's invisible plane?

According to Mac's original concerns, she can enter with her plane as long as it's not fitted with an invisible 25-mm Gatling gun or invisible 2.75-inch rockets.
