A little surprised but not really. In all honesty,  I didn't expect him to even show after the trade was made. Figured he would either not show or make it in the E.  Maybe it's an attitude thing, but surprised

we didn't try to get someone for him via a trade.

So I may be a broken record here, but does Roanoke owe Peoria for Klein? Or was this, if I remember correctly, something for Dion when he didnt retire and signed with the Rivermen?

He was traded to us  for future considerations,  which could mean money or a player or anything else. Sometimes those things just fade away once the season ends.

I mean can all the blame really be placed on him? I think we're giving up close to 45 shots a game, which is pathetic and sad. It also shows lack of physicality and if a goalie is getting eat up every night what's the point. He may have just decided he's done and it's not fun anymore.

He was traded to us because Dion went back on his word with Bremner that if he didn't retire Roanoke would have the first chance to sign him.  Dion didn't want to pull a fast one one Bremner so he talked Trudel into making the trade so there were no bad feelings.  Once Dion jumped ship I knew the samething was going to happen with Carvalho when Dion posted about him joining the summer hockey team.  I didn't expect Murray, Mele, Guyon, Bauer, Dion, Carvalho, Carbonara, and a few others to leave also.  Very bad offseason now, when you look back and think about it.

I think it had to do with more then just his play.

Wonder if players are getting fed up with management here in Roanoke

I’ve speculated that for a while. I really do not think everything is all sunshine and rainbows as management often advertises. I don’t blame them for putting a positive spin on things but I keep getting a feeling that something is off and not right.
