And 2 of those 4 folded that same year. Now, I know who to blame.

And when not tending goal he tended bar.

Only Jeff Carr could neuter Travis Armstrong into oblivion.

Armstrong will probably end up somewhere in the SPHL this season. His main problem is that he's a veteran with 268 games played. If nothing else, Roanoke still has his rights for next season.

Absolutely, he will contribute somewhere this year and in the future.  He has little to no veteran competition on the roster in Knoxville.  He was mis-used and rendered useless by Carr, while everyone knows he is not useless by any means.  I just wonder if Armstrong got sick of Carr's beta-male brand of hockey and made himself unwelcome.  These balanced rosters of advanced talent that are relatively equal across the teams places a glaring spotlight on Carr's incompetence as a coach and roster manager.

I hate to say it but Carr couldn't win the sphl with the Edmonton Oilers of the 80's

Absolutely true.  He has had circles coached around him by Kerr and even Price during the last couple of weeks.  You can just see them out-maneuver him through the majority of the game.  He has some good players, and they create no mismatches or open looks.  It's individual hockey attempting to throw pucks through traffic to the net front, and he has talent that should not rely on that as the sole offensive philosophy.  His power play is absolutely non-existent.  The penalty kill is not too sharp this year either, though that has not typically been a weakness.  He has always been in over his head, and this year makes it obvious.  His absolute lack of willingness to play physical and stand up to that type of play has made them nearly unwatchable.

Is Melkert not contributing much behind the bench?

I've never noticed him on the bench.  Usually only three guys with Carr, equipment manager, and trainer. Condolences on him attempting to learn from Carr.

Not surprised. Somewhat talented, but effort was questionable at times.

Regarding Sanvido, Detulleo and the Havoc must think his effort warrants further play in the SPHL:

Making moves! 👊

We've added forward, Connor Sanvido to the roster. Welcome, Connor!

He probably becomes a quality player under a decent coach.

Wow! Last year's goalie "savior" gets the heave-ho. Another example of Carr's "brilliance"? Granted he's 0-3 but his GAA is better than diSalvo's.

He became aggressive towards the other team at the conclusion of the last game.  Aggression is not tolerated by Carr.  If you want to get somewhat angry or act like an alpha male, you will suffer the consequences.

Am I then to infer that Mr Thrower will be next up on the waiver wire?

Knoxville’s Josh Thrower has been suspended two games under Rule 28, Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in Game 33, Knoxville at Macon, played on Friday, February 5.

Thrower was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 46.8, Fighting Other Than During Periods of the Game, at 20:00 of the third period.

Thrower will miss Knoxville’s games against Huntsville (February 12) and Birmingham (February 13).
